Dumpster Rental FAQs
Got questions about dumpsters or junk removal? We’ve compiled answers to the most common concerns—covering permits, pricing, rental terms, and disposal rules. If you don’t see your question here, our team is only a call or text away.
General
What is a “roll-off” dumpster rental?
It’s a large, open-top container delivered to your property or job site for waste disposal—and then picked up when you’re done.
What’s the rental process like?
Simply request a quote over the phone or via text at 866-927-8335 (even send us photos!), pick a delivery date, fill it at your own pace, then schedule pickup when you’re finished.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster?
If the dumpster stays on private property (driveway, lot), usually no permit is required. If it will be placed on the street or sidewalk, most South Florida cities require a temporary permit. WasteLine Solutions can assist with details and paperwork.
What if I fill the dumpster before my rental period ends?
You can call us for an early pickup and swap. We’ll bring an empty container so your project keeps moving.
What if my debris is heavier than expected?
If weight exceeds the included tonnage, a pro-rated overage fee applies by county. We’ll review disposal tickets with you so charges are transparent.
What items are not allowed?
We cannot accept hazardous waste such as chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, paint, medical waste, or tires. Call us for guidance on safe disposal and recycling alternatives.
How long can I keep a dumpster?
Our standard rental period is 7 days. Extensions are available for longer projects. Same‑day delivery and pickup options are also offered.
Do you handle heavy materials?
Yes, but materials like dirt, concrete, and roofing shingles may require smaller containers due to weight restrictions. Ask our team for the best fit.
Do you offer same-day service?
Yes—same-day or next-day service is available in most cases across Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Pinellas and Brevard Counties.
Do you recycle or donate items?
Absolutely. We donate reusable items to local charities and recycle materials like metal, cardboard, and plastic bottles whenever possible.
Pricing
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?
Pricing depends on the dumpster size, debris type, and rental length. We offer flat‑rate packages for common sizes. Junk removal is priced by volume. Contact us for a tailored quote.
What’s included in the price?
Our flat-rate pricing covers dumpster rental with included weight (tons). We also charge delivery fee, fuel service charges, overage charges per ton (by county), concrete disposal fee (if applicable). We’ll let you know in advance if additional charges apply.
How do I pay for my rental or junk removal?
We accept all major credit cards, debit, and business checks. Payment is usually due at delivery.
Sizes
Is there a weight limit—or other restrictions?
Yes. Each dumpster has a weight limit to stay safe. Heavy items like concrete, bricks, or dirt may require a smaller bin due to weight—even if there’s space. Overages may incur fees.
What sizes are available?
We offer 10, 20, 30, and 40-yard dumpsters. Call or text us what you’re cleaning out, and we’ll help you determine the best fit.
Delivery & Pickup
Where can you drop off my dumpster rental?
We can place your dumpster in a driveway, parking lot, construction site, or other flat, accessible surface. If you need placement on the street or sidewalk, most South Florida cities require a permit—we’ll guide you through the process if needed. Our team always works with you to choose the safest, most convenient drop-off spot.
What happens to my junk after pickup?
We prioritize eco‑friendly disposal. Usable items are donated, recyclables like metal and cardboard are diverted, and the rest is disposed of responsibly at licensed facilities.
Do I need to be home during delivery or pickup?
Not always. As long as the placement area is clear and accessible, our crew can deliver or pick up your dumpster without you being on site.
When will my dumpster rental arrive?
Delivery windows are scheduled in advance. Most dumpsters arrive the morning of your requested day, but we’ll provide an estimated timeframe when you book. If you need a tighter window—just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How much space is required for delivery?
A typical dumpster needs about 60 feet of straight clearance and 10 feet of width. Make sure no cars, low branches, or wires block the delivery path.
Can I move the dumpster after it’s placed?
No. For safety and liability reasons, only our team should move dumpsters once they’re set.
How should I prepare for my dumpster delivery?
Before delivery, make sure the area is clear of vehicles, low-hanging branches, and other obstacles. If the dumpster is going in your driveway, laying down plywood can help protect the surface. For gated or secured properties, please provide access instructions so our driver can deliver without delay.
How quickly can you deliver my dumpster?
In many cases, we offer same-day or next-day delivery across Fort Lauderdale, Broward, Miami-Dade, Pinellas and Brevard counties. For urgent projects, our team is available 24/7 to handle emergency deliveries.
